Shipping

Processing Time

We understand how time sensitive receiving your urn is and we are committed to shipping all of our urns as fast as possible for you. Some of our urns are custom made and do need to be crafted before they can be shipped, but the urns that do need extra processing time are stated on the product listing page. All of our listing pages have an “Availability” section that will tell you what the processing time for that particular urn is.

We would hate for an urn not to make it to you in time for your special event. So if it does not look like the urn you would like will make it in time, please contact us and we will be happy to let you know for sure if the urn will make it in time or try and find an alternative solution for you.

Orders are not able to be shipped or delivered on Saturday or Sunday. Due to national shipping policies, orders are also not able to be shipped or delivered on the following six national holidays: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.

Shipping Options and Cost

We offer free standard shipping and express shipping on all of our urns and memorials. Below is a list of all shipping options available in the United States.

Free Shipping

For your convenience we provide free standard shipping on all of the urns and memorials we offer. There is no minimum purchase required to receive free standard shipping. Standard shipping typically takes 2-6 business days from the day it is shipped to arrive.

Express Shipping

If you need your urn or memorial quicker, we also offer the following express shipping options. Cost for each method depends on the item weight and distance it will need to travel. But we try to offer the most competitive rates available for each method.

  • 3 Day Express – This shipping method takes 3 business days to arrive after the urn or memorial has shipped. Please check the “Availability” section of your urn in the listing to determine the processing time before the item ships. Shipping carriers do not operate during Saturday or Sunday. See transit time chart below for more details.

Tracking an Order

We provide tracking numbers for all of our orders so that you are able to keep an eye on your package and know exactly when it will arrive. All tracking numbers are provided as soon as possible after the item ships.

Shipping FAQ’s

Do I Need to be Home to Accept Delivery?

We do not send any of our packages with signature required so you are able to receive the package even if you are not able to be at home during delivery. If there are any exceptions to that for any reason, we will send you a message directly.

Does Personalization Delay Shipping?

Personalization does not tend to delay shipping; however, it can delay an item by 1-2 days on very rare occasions.

Can I Change My Delivery Address?

We can definitely change the delivery address for you in most cases. If you find that you have an error in your delivery address please contact us as soon as possible because if the item needs to be rerouted it will delay the delivery time of your item.

Returns & Exchanges

60 Day Money Back Guarantee

We understand the difficult time you are going through, and to help alleviate that difficulty Memorials Forever tries to make returns as simple as possible. We want our customers to be 100% satisfied with their purchase and to have complete peace of mind when buying from us. If for any reason you are unsatisfied with your urn or memorial, contact us within the first 60 days after receiving it and we will assist you in returning it for a full refund or exchange.

The Only Exceptions to Our Return Policy

The following are the only exceptions to our return policy:

  • We cannot take any item that has been personalized with engraving or specially customized.
  • We cannot take back urns or memorials that have had ashes placed in them.
  • Item needs to arrive in the same condition as you received it.
  • Expedited shipping cannot be refunded unless it was due to an error on our behalf.

How to Return Your Urn or Memorial

In order to keep the return process as simple as possible there are only 2 steps to returning your urn or memorial.

Step 1: Get an RA Number

Each urn or memorial needs an RA number to tie your order with the return so we can be sure your return is processed as quickly and seamlessly as possible for you. In order to receive an RA number just contact us through one of the 2 methods below and we will send you the RA and any additional return information as soon as possible.

  • (800) 373-2244

Step 2: Return the Item

Once you have the RA number, repackage the item using the original packaging materials to ensure it does not get damaged in transit. Then simply return the item to the address provided with the RMA number. That is all you need to do and we will handle the rest for you.

Return FAQ’s

How are Returns Processed?

After the urn arrives at its destination it will be inspected to be sure it falls within our policy, and provided it does you will be issued a full refund for the item price or a replacement according to your wishes. Most refunds are processed within 1 week of the item arriving at its final destination, but this can vary slightly based on your particular credit card company’s processing time.

Do You Offer Exchanges?

We would be happy to work out an exchange for you if you would prefer to exchange the item. Just contact us with your order number and the item you are interested in exchanging it for on our contact page and we will get back to you with more details as soon as possible. Our exchange policy is subject to the same conditions as our returns policy.

Who Pays for Return Shipping?

Memorials Forever pays for return shipping in the event that the return is the result of an error on our end and the customer has received an RA number. Return shipping cost is paid by the customer if the urn was not wanted for any other reason.

My Item Arrived Damaged, What Should I Do?

We would like to apologize if you received a damaged urn or memorial. Typically our shipping service does an excellent job handling our urns and memorials, but on a very rare occasion an accident will happen. If you have received a damaged urn or memorial, we will happily handle this for you, but we need to be notified within 2 business days in order to file a claim on your behalf and arrange for a replacement.
